Gathering Around God's Word

God creates life through His Word. We gather on Sunday morning to pray the Word, sing the Word, read the Word, preach the Word, and see the Word in baptism and the Lord’s Supper. Engaging with God together on Sunday morning fuels our love for each other during the week.

Our services include:

  • We publicly read God's Word because we believe Scripture itself is powerful and life-giving.

  • We sing together because God commands His people to praise Him and encourage one another through song.

  • We pray together as a church because we depend completely on God for wisdom, strength, salvation, and growth.

  • The centerpiece of our gathering is the expositional preaching of God's Word. We typically preach through books of the Bible and rotate from Old Testament to New Testament.

  • We regularly celebrate the ordinances Christ gave His church as visible reminders of the gospel. Baptism is a public profession of faith in Christ and identification with His people. The Lord’s Supper proclaims the Lord’s death until he comes as a spiritual meal for the church.
